Cherry Cheesecake - SUEPER Success


First Try at Cherry Cheese Cake! A success!

Sponge Toffee - SUPER FAIL!!!


Pull out ingredients


Ready the pan for finished product

Next 8 pictures was the boiling process

Somewhere around here we smelt burnt sugar. *SIGH*

Guess the heat is too high.

The above 8 pictures were the BOIL process (prior to adding Baking Soda)

The next 4 pictures is after the baking soda and dumped into prepared pan

It grows

This was the evolution of the growing mixture


At this point we already tasted it on the spoon
AND
YUK!!! Burnt Sugar!!

Well, HADDA PLAY WITH IT! YOU KNOW!!
Since it is going to the garbage can anyways
Well, it looked great but was GROSS!
Will have to try again another day!
Good thing we HALVED the recipe!

Bread Making Journey Continues


Mixed up dough as directed.


1 hour later, it rised like this.


Added flour gradually.


Continued...


In a ball ready to rise again.


1 hour later.


Punch it down.


Removed from bowl and Cut in 1/2


Pace in bread pans ready to rise again.


Again after one hour.


Here they are all cooekd.


Sliced up and ready to serve.


Ready to eat along side a main dish.

I know, I know, too many posts of the same thing!
Well, this is sorta documentation for myself too. so I know what I am doing and what may need to be changed next time.

Next time will add a bit more sugar.

It was 65% off at Canadian Tire this week. Reg $7.99 for $2.79
(although the one pictured on the Canadian Tire website is not the same as this one. Yet the SAME item ID --> 042-1103-0)
There are no identifying markings on this loaf pan. Only sizing markings exist.

Bread - I think we've got it.

This one tasted like it should!

Found the other ones quite tasteless.



Ingredients!


All measured out and ready to go.


Mixed, time to cover and let rise (first time)


There it is about double size - 1 hr later.


Add the Rest of the flour and kneaded

One hour later - to about double


Punch it down.


Fold out onto cutting board.


Separate out into desired sizes.


The pieces are in the cupcake tin.


One hour later - rise yet again.


Removed from oven.
